I had a mixed experience at Porcelain Hotel. The location in Chinatown is fantastic, but my room was incredibly small and quite noisy. The staff were friendly, but the service could have been improved with more helpful answers to my inquiries.

Rooms
6.0
My room was very compact, making it tough to move around. It had no window and barely enough space for luggage. The shower was nice, but I missed having soap in the bathroom.
Service
6.0
The reception staff was nice and helpful, but their responses were often lacking. I asked simple questions about transportation and dining, but didn't get the detailed advice I expected.
Location
8.0
The hotel is right in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by great shops and close to the MRT. It was really convenient for exploring and finding food.
Dining
6.0
There's no breakfast offered, but being in Chinatown makes it easy to find local dining. Plenty of options right around the corner.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent amenities, but the noise from construction was disruptive during my stay. The modern bathroom was a plus, but the air conditioning could use some maintenance.

I found my stay at Porcelain Hotel By Jl Asia to be quite mixed. The location is fantastic, right next to Chinatown with plenty of dining options and easy access to public transport. However, the room was very small, barely accommodating my luggage, and the bathroom setup wasn't ideal. Despite these drawbacks, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made my experience much better overall.

Rooms
6.0
The room was exceptionally small, with very limited space for luggage. I had to maneuver around just to fit my backpack. The lack of a proper shower setup was inconvenient.
Service
8.0
The staff were kind and attentive, greeting me warmly and ready to assist. They offered daily housekeeping without needing a request, which was a nice touch.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is a huge plus; it's just a short walk to Chinatown and the MRT. I loved being surrounded by numerous eateries and the vibrant local scene.
Dining
7.0
There weren't many dining options directly in the hotel, but the streets nearby were filled with excellent local food choices.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like dry cleaning and airport shuttle services were offered, but the room upgrades could do with a bit of attention, particularly regarding noise insulation and cleanliness.

My experience at the Porcelain Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chinatown with tons of dining options around. However, the room was disappointingly small and lacked some basic amenities, like a working TV. While the staff didn't stand out in terms of service, the cleanliness was decent. It's good if you just need somewhere to crash, but don't expect a relaxing setup.

Rooms
5.0
The Superior room was quite compact, making it challenging for two people. There was limited space for luggage, and no cupboard for clothes. The bed was high, which could be tricky for some. Overall, just a bit cramped for comfort.
Service
5.0
The staff were polite, but I didn't find them particularly helpful when I had questions about local transport or dining options. A few of my inquiries left me feeling a bit lost.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is a big plus, just a stone's throw from the Chinatown MRT and surrounded by fantastic local food. It's super convenient for getting around the city, which I really appreciated.
Dining
8.0
While the hotel didn't serve breakfast, there were lots of awesome spots just around the corner. The range of eateries in Chinatown is unbeatable, so you won't go hungry.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities could use some upgrades. The shower was alright, but there were no basic items like soap or tissue available. The TV didn't work during my stay, which was a bit disappointing.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Porcelain Hotel By Jl Asia. The location in Chinatown was perfect for exploring and getting food, but the room was quite small and lacked a window. The service was genuinely helpful, especially during my early check-in, but the compact layout made it less comfortable for an extended stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room was incredibly compact, with barely enough space for the bed. Having no window made it feel more like a pod than a hotel room, and the bathroom could use a redesign since the shower area was not separated from the toilet, which posed a safety concern.
Service
8.0
The staff, particularly Mr. Gary at the reception, was accommodating and friendly. They offered helpful tips for the area and made adjustments when my initial room was too noisy.
Location
9.0
I loved the hotel's location in Chinatown. so close to the MRT, I could walk just a few minutes to reach it. There were various restaurants and 7-Elevens nearby, making finding food easy and convenient.
Dining
7.0
Dining options around the hotel were fantastic, especially with the variety of local food available. However, I missed having breakfast options at the hotel itself.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic yet functional, with clean rooms and good amenities like a kettle for making coffee or tea. However, there were limited common spaces to relax outside the room.

I had a mixed experience at Porcelain Hotel by JL Asia. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chinatown, making it easy to explore the area. The room I stayed in was quite small, which made moving around a bit of a challenge. I was also struck by the cleanliness issues in the bathroom, but the friendly staff and convenient amenities helped offset some of my concerns.

Rooms
5.0
My room was quite tiny, and I initially struggled with the layout. There wasn't much floor space, and it was difficult to open my suitcases simultaneously. Additionally, I noticed some cleanliness issues in the bathroom, which was disappointing.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating me with an early check-in that was much appreciated. However, there were occasional moments when the service felt a bit rushed, which could use some improvement.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is arguably its best feature. It's just a short walk from the Chinatown MRT station, with an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby. I found it incredibly convenient for sightseeing around the city.
Dining
7.0
Since there was no breakfast included, I had to explore local dining options in the area. Fortunately, I found plenty of fantastic restaurants just around the corner, so food was never an issue.
Facilities
6.0
Basic facilities were available, including complimentary coffee and tea. However, I noticed some maintenance issues like dust from the air conditioning that could use attention.
